Terms of Use

Effective from 8 September 2026.

By accessing and using this site you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

1. What we provide

The site offers, free of charge, computational tools supporting academic research: statistical tests, assumption checking, sample size calculation, bibliographic reference formatting, scholarly literature search, and conversion of R output to LaTeX.

2. A support tool, not consultancy

The tools produce automated results based on statistical formulas established in the literature. They do not constitute statistical consultancy, methodological supervision, expert opinion or peer review. The choice of study design, the appropriateness of a given test, the verification of substantive assumptions and the final interpretation of results remain the sole responsibility of the user and their supervisor or research team.

3. No warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Although the algorithms are implemented from recognised references and validated against established software, we do not warrant absolute accuracy, freedom from error, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for any particular purpose. Always verify critical results in reference statistical software (R, SPSS, Jamovi, JASP, Stata) before submitting work for assessment or publication.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including the statutory rights of consumers in the European Union, the United Kingdom and other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protection rules.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no liability for academic, professional, clinical or financial decisions taken on the basis of generated results, nor for failed assessments, requested revisions, retractions, data loss, or any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the site.

This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or to any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Where a limitation is held unenforceable in your jurisdiction, our liability is limited to the minimum permitted by that law.

5. Academic integrity

The template texts in APA, MLA, Chicago, Vancouver and ABNT styles generated by the tools are drafting suggestions, to be reviewed, adapted and verified by the author. You are solely responsible for the originality, accuracy and integrity of the work you submit. Use of this site for academic misconduct, or for the fabrication or falsification of research data, is expressly prohibited.

6. Permitted use

Personal, educational, scientific and institutional use is permitted, including in published work and in commercial research. You may not: (a) copy or redistribute the source code as your own product; (b) carry out automated scraping, reverse engineering, or deliberate overloading of the service; (c) remove, obscure or interfere with the display of advertising; (d) use the site for unlawful activity.

7. Intellectual property

The code, layout, visual identity and original written content of this site are protected by copyright. The data you enter remains entirely yours — we claim no rights over it and, as a matter of technical architecture, we have no access to it. You may use any output generated from your own data without restriction or attribution to us, although citing the underlying statistical method is expected academic practice.

8. Third-party content and services

Bibliographic metadata is retrieved from the public Crossref API and reflects information deposited by publishers; it may contain inaccuracies. Open-access availability is looked up through OpenAlex. External links and advertisements do not imply endorsement, and we are not responsible for third-party content.

9. Advertising

The site is funded by advertising delivered through Google AdSense. Continued use implies awareness of the display of advertisements and of the cookie processing described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes and discontinuation

We may modify, suspend or discontinue tools at any time without prior notice, and may update these terms. Because the service is free and requires no account, no refund or transition obligation arises.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and the courts of the district of Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, shall have jurisdiction over any dispute.

However, if you use this site as a consumer, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of habitual residence, nor of your right to bring proceedings before the courts of that country where applicable law so provides.
